Welcome to the Eclectic Spectrum
After little debate, I've decided to start a blog. In college I was writing DVD and video game reviews on an almost weekly basis, which I very much miss. Since this is the digital age of communication where you can pretty much do or say whatever you want, there is actually little reason that, having already graduated, I can't still continue to write reviews. But now I'm going to have more fun.
About this blog:
-The main purpose of this blog is to write reviews on movies, video games, comics, graphic novels, books, soundtracks and generally whatever the hell I feel like or come across that is worth writing about.
-Reviews will come in upwards of two forms: abbreviated or expanded. Abbreviated will be a blurb, probably less than 100 words. The expanded version probably won't follow a particular structure, but there will probably be similarities between them. Obviously, the expanded will go into more depth about the item.
-To jazz things up, I will occasionally put in posts that contain links to other sites, or posts that include original stories (depending on legalities, etc.). Also, if I ever get around to buying the equipment, maybe some original art. Additionally, if I ever get to the point where I can interview people (again), maybe I'll post one of those.
-This will fluctuate and change over time. Nothing is guaranteed. Ever. And that's a guarantee.
